not willing to wait longer, Torren is spurred into action. "Cruix, get someone to help and meet us at the birthing rings. Jayce, Xan, see if you can't bring whatever Cruix might need. Kanwarr, can you help Harbacca and get something to carry Arrisa over there?" Torren asks, then turns to the chief and continues. "I'm sorry we have to cut this short, but it seems my Daughter wants to come... and soon. Do you have something she can sit on while she waits for a repulser sled or something?"

Cruix ignoring the now soak jedi who just entered labor says,

"Yes this child will be born within the next hour. We will hurry ... there isnt much we can do here. Other then provided a few sedatives, some clean water its all up to the mother. Xan Jayce go grab my med kit and meet me in the Nursery Ring, I will stay with her and the child."

"ooac shhucao acooanwa caoahanan" Hrabacca barks, wrapping one enormous arm around Arrisa's shoulders and bending down to loop the other behind her knees so that he can carry her himself.

"wohoworcrooowhwo oohuao ooww aoacwo ohraro!" he roars at the top of his lungs,
"rrwoao rhwoaoohwowowh scro waworhaoscraaowo rawhwa aoacwo whhurccworcro rcahwhrrc rawhwa ah'anan ohworarc rooohurc coaraanakc!"

Any comment Arrisa might have made in response to Hrabacca's threat is lost in her scream as another contraction comes and she reaches for Torren...

"Well I could have carried her, you big furball... just try not to jostle her too much, okay?" Turning to Arrisa and taking her hand in his own as the walk/get carried. "It's going to be okay, Love. Just try and stay calm and breath steady..." He encourages her, sending reassurance and confidence through the Force.

“That's easy for you to say” Arrisa says a little tartly, the pain already starting to get to her.
“Just don't fall over anything and I'll be fine”

Amid a clamour of excited Wookiees, you are all rushed across the tree city towards the nursery rings, with Hrabacca carrying Arrisa in his great arms. In the excitement, no-one notices a trooper in forest colours watching through macrobinoculars.
Within a few minutes, you reach an empty hut lit by torches. A thick bed of furs has already been laid out, and it is onto this bed that Hrabacca gently lowers Arrisa, who by now is red in the face and breathing in hurried puffs... in between screaming through the contractions.

"Oh, things are always happening. This particular thing just happens to be happening to our fearless leader. And as you can see..." Jayce indicates the building pandemonium of the imminent birth-Torren's attempts at order and Bone's medical requests-and finishes, "...this particular thing is happening to us by extension. Quite exciting don't you think?"

Cupping his hand, Jayce yells to the team's resident doctor, "Don't worry Cruix, consider your medical kit on the way."

"Well, time to be useful."

Jayce starts off back to Syren's Heart, assuming that Xan will follow. Or not. That is fine too.

Sitting so Arrisa can lay her head in his lap, Torren alternates between stroking her hair, holding her hand and rubbing her shoulders as he whispers words of encouragement into her ear and sends his love and calming essence through the Force...

Blake shakes his head at the 'fearless leader' comment then sets off after the birthing party at a discreet distance so as not to get in the way or be called upon to get screamed at.

While Torren does his best to soothe Arrisa's pain, the contractions continue.
Fortunately, Cruix doesn't have to wait long for hot water. Three female Wookiees each bring in a tub of it.

"Wookiees really don't do anything small" Arrisa groans, taking small comfort in the fact that her baby isn't as big as a Wookiee pup.

Cruix immediately prepares himself for the delivery ... pausing only to check up on his Laboring friend. Using the Force to help determine any problems that may be lurking in the nearby Future.

Xan watches as his master-and-traveling-companion heads off to go fetch a medkit, and looks back at the throng of Wookiees and the mother-to-be, and finally shrugs and heads off after Jayce, finding it a slight bit preferable after seeing a pregnant woman's waters break.

Cruix, the future is clouded, and not in a good way.
Though you can tell the the child is healthy, looking into the future, you see nothing but fire.

"Stop spacing out and get on with it!" Arrisa screams as another contraction comes.

Cruix looks down at the woman ... and replies dryly, " Torren would you please help me prepare your wife. You can start by removing her pants and clearing the way. I have to finish preparing myself and an area for the baby."

Cruix reaches out with the force to locate the source of the troubling feeling the future has presented him with, as he prepares himself and a place for the child.

UTF check Sense Surroundings as far as i can.

"Oh, right..." Torren deadpans, not believing he forgot such a simple detail. As quickly as he is able, he lays her head down, undresses her lower half and gets back in position to comfort her. Smiling, he whispers in her ear "Well, so much for having everything under control... sorry Honey, but just relax and we'll get through this."

Cruix, though you can't detect anything specific, there is an aura of menace somewhere to the south-west.

"How can I relax?" Arrisa says harshly, "This hurts a lot more than the medics on Naboo said it would. But I'll try, just hold me"

Running full out, Jayce quickly covers ground, making his way along the winding tree path to the Syren's Heart. Sending the open signal via his comlink, he races up the ramp and into the ship, making his way through the corridors until arriving at Cruix's bunk. Seeing the clearly marked medical bag, he picks it up, gives a nod to Xan, and starts back again...

Cruix reaches out with the Force to Kanwarr & Torren

"The future is clouded .... i have gotten a feeling trouble is brewing to the south-west. Alls i could see was fire, and an ominous feeling. Be Ready for anything."

To Arrisa Cruix says, "I dont know what you were told, but its nothing unbearable. Especially when you get to hold your child in your arms. And if all goes well i will beable to lessen your pain."

(Somewhere South-west of the nursery rings)

“Scout troopers confirm it, Commander. The Jedi is in the second easternmost nursery ring. From the local chatter, it looks like being a short labour. The baby could be born within twenty minutes”

Commander Travis allowed himself a slight smile at this news. Everything was falling into place. Soon his revenge would be complete and the Grand Vizier would restore his rightful position in the fleet.
“Your men are clear on their orders?” he asked of the trooper beside him.
“The Grand Vizier wants us to deliver the baby alive. We only need the mother until she's given birth. All the other rebels are legitimate targets, but do not target Blake. Blake is mine”

The trooper nodded, hefting his oversized rifle and slapping an odd blue cartridge into it.
“I think we can handle that, sir” he said tersely, “We're all professionals here”
Ignoring Travis' glare, the trooper continued.
“All units report ready sir. The charges are in place. Ten second countdown begins on your order”

Now Travis grinned, a dangerous glint appearing in his one eye as he looked almost reverently at his left hand and the weapon built into it.
“Now they'll pay the price for not killing me when the had the chance” he hissed, “Activate the charges”

Within seconds of you reaching the nursery rings and starting to traverse the area to reach Arrisa, the city is suddenly rocked by explosions.
Only a last second prompting from the Force allows you to take cover and avoid being caught in a great conflaggeration that cuts off the nursery rings from the rest of the city.

(Initiative: Imperials, Kanwarr, Torren, Jayce, Travis, Cruix, Hrabacca, Blake, Xan)

Before either of the Zeison Sha can recover, a pair of speeder bikes come streaking over the edge of the walkway, spitting laser fire your way.
(6 damage each from autofire)

(Everyone else)

The explosions off to the west are followed moments later by more dangerous sounds; the roars of jetpacks and repulsorlifts.

As another pair of speeder bikes zip past from the north, spitting fire at Blake, and the Wookiees (10 damage each and a Wookiee civilian gets killed), five Imperial ARC Troopers in forest-camo armour rise up from the forest to the east and south, armed with a variety of heavy weapons...

And just to make things more interesting, Arrisa is in the throes of another contraction.

With a Roar that could shatter transparasteel, Kanwarr launches himself at the nearest prey, raging that they would dare disturb his battle mates child being born...

(Swift to Rage, Move & Draw, Charge the closet trooper)

Meanwhile..

Hearing the explosion, Torren sets Arrisa's head down, jumps to his feet and rushes outside, anger trying it's damnedest to creep into his thoughts. *Stay clam, trust in the Force....* He thinks to himself in an effort to stem the tide of dark thoughts.

Tanking a moment to get a handle on himself and the situation outside, Torren empowers himself with the Force and prepares to engage anyone who comes in range...

(Move outside and draw weapon, UTF Battle Strike, Readied action to charge anyone who comes in range)

The rage of Kanwarr the Undying is frightening to behold. The target ARC Trooper barely manages to avoid losing his head to the armoured Wookiee's silver blade.

"Don't you go running off and leaving me!" Arrisa hisses at Cruix, "I am not doing this on my own"
