Travis allows himself a slight grin as you hesitate, knowing that you've given him just the chance he needed.

He lunges forward, knocking your lightsabre arm aside as he grabs you by the throat, wrapping his right arm around your neck and pressing the fingers of his left hand to you head.

"You can always rely on a Jedi to hesitate when you threaten millions of civilians" he sneers, "Now, Wookiee. Throw the jetpack over the side"

(Through the Force, Torren can see, a little late, that Travis was lying through his teeth)

A low rumble escapes Kanwarr's lips as he look at Torren and Travis. Torren almost imperceptibly shakes his head no, then Kanwarr does so more vigorously as he drops keeps the pack on...

Then, suddenly and in a blur, the Wookiee rushes around behind Travis to attack again.

(Surge, Move to flank, Attack)

Stuck to Torren as he is, Travis is barely able to avoid Kanwarr's lightsabre as it drags through his shield, passing within millimetres of his flesh.

"Nice try, Wookiee" he hisses, "But now you lose"

"Not today Travis." Torren says, then gives into the Force as he stabs his lightsaber at Travis's head.

Unfortunately the Force seems to be with Travis too for the moment. Without losing his grip on your neck, he uses his left hand to check your sabre attack by intercepting your wrist.

"No no no, Jedi" he sneers, "We can't be having that"
Still holding Torren as a semi-hostage, Travis backs away from Kanwarr to the edge of the nest, where he can hear the speeder bike's engine still running.

"If you ever see Blake again, tell him that his luck won't last"

Propelled by the Force, Kanwarr leaps past the two struggling humans and onto the speeder bike. Turning it to bring the cannons to bear, he lets loose with a barrage at the back of his still stunned prey.

Kanwarr and vehicles may not mix, but a gun is still a gun.
His blasts knock the one-eyed villains shields offline, making him vulnerable at last to good old-fashioned chopping...

Using the Force, Torren tries to pull Travis off of him and slam him into the ground...

(UTF Move Object him into an adjacent square so standing will provoke an AoO)

That's more like it. The Force is strong with Torren. Possibly too strong as his Force smash puts Travis right through the base of the nest and sends wooden shards flying in all directions.

Bleeding from over a dozen cuts, Travis is just barely managing to hold on to a twisted branch with his right hand. That death grip is all that stands between him and a very long drop.
Despite the prospect of imminent death, he is laughing like a madman as he looks for purchase with his articial hand...

Jumping down off the bike, Kanwarr nearly dives into the hole in his attempt to grab the human and finish the kill before he's lost to the depths.

And that was exactly what Travis was waiting for; one of the Jedi to try to bring him in alive.

Still laughing, he shoots Kanwarr in the chest with the blaster built into his left hand (36 damage, 1 step down the track) and lets go of the nest, preferring to take his chances in the depths of the Shadowlands.

He's falling fast but isn't out of sight yet...

More by luck than judgement, Kanwarr catches up to Torren without causing anything to go wrong with the bike.

Of course that doesn't mean that catching Travis is going to be easy.
His descent is now taking him through an area strewn with thick webs. Kanwarr should recognise it as a sign that they are nearing the lair of a dreaded slash-spider...

Zooming after the evil commander, Torren continues to blast away at him. "Come on, Big Guy, lets put some holes in the tinman..."

Blasting away as you zig-zag through the strands of webbing you see a vast arachnid with great serrated jaws flash forward to try to snatch Travis out of the air. Though it fails to grab him, it decides to try to grab you instead.

Banking to avoid the slash-spider, you accidentally ram the bike into a thick strand of web, and half-jump, half-fall away from it.
That's probably just as well as the slash-spider's jaws tear the bike in two a moment later...

Roaring a quick warning to Torren about the dangers of slash-spiders, Kanwarr dives from the web, fully intent on catching up with the falling cyborg.

After a few more seconds, you pass beyond the web and into relatively clear air... as far as you can tell. Light is extremely limited this far down, with only small colonies of phosphorescent lichens providing hints of where the great Wroshyr trunks are.

Somewhere below you in the gloom, and likely falling just as rapidly, is Travis.
For the moment, it is almost impossible to pinpoint his location...
