Time: Roughly twenty years before the battle of Yavin.
Place: On a world in the inner rim, besieged by the seperatists.
"Hey, Kiz!", Kale calls out, ducking under a hail of blaster fire.
"If we are going to die here today, there's just one thing I need to know from you."
""Uh... and what the hell is that, Kale?", Kiz responds through the din of combat, various explosions threatening to drown out her voice. She throws a grenade at a group of battle droids in front of them, destroying quite a few in the resulting explosion.
"What ever happened to your boobs?", he asks, redirecting a tank blast back to the tank with the power of the force.
"T... t.... WHAT?!"
"You know, your boobs. I have it under good authority (I asked Sakura) that women have boobs. So where are yours?", Kale asks loudly while cleaving a number of battle droids in two.
"I... is now the right time for this!?", she yells back, ducking under a tank shell and firing her rocket launcher at the offender.
"Well, it obviously wasn't the right time prior to now and no amount of wishing will ever make now come again, so I don't see why not.", he replies, thrusting a magnadroid into a nearby super battle droid, both of them exploding in the resulting impact.
"I... I never had any, alright?! An' they'll never come anyways, not with this cut- damn it!", Kiz yells back once more, diving for cover and shoving a rocket into her smoking launcher.
"Geeze, yell it to the whole battlefield why don't you? Look, you confused the poor, innocent battle droids."
Kale points to the confused battle droids while deflecting blaster bolts from all around.
"What?! What the hell are you talking about?!"
Kiz leaps out of cover to fire another rocket at the horde of battle droids in front of them, blasting them apart.
"Well, I was just asking about why you have no boobs and then you shouted it for everyone to hear. I was just pointing out that the poor battle droids are now confused by your proclamation of small boobage. Really, Kiz. I would expect you to be able to keep up with a conversation, especially when you are half of the conversation, don't you know!"
Kale jumps backwards to avoid several missile strikes on his former position and lands next to Kiz. He then ducks behind cover and deflects the occasional random blaster bolt.
"Damn it, you idiot! We're getting shot at and you're complaining to me about SUBTLETY!?"
Kiz drops her rocket launcher and pulls out her blaster rifle, taking a few droids out with a few quick trigger pulls.
Shaking his head in pity for his poor dull friend, Kale says, "Kiz, we just went over this. I really don't know how to make it any more plain."
"Well, what the hell d'you want me to do!? An' I'm not even covering my chest, of COURSE my small boobage is plain to see - and why the hell did you call it 'boobage'!?"
"Well, what else would it be? I mean... Duck!"
Kale grabs Kiz and pulls her down into the trench. A second later a shell explodes quite near. If they hadn't ducked, they would be dead now. Kiz stares in shock at what just happened, though whether or not she is grateful is difficult to see.
"Wow, that was close. Good thing I am a master of perception, eh? Eh?"
"Master of perception... you crazy bastard..."
Kale laughs and gives her his best boyish grin. Kiz merely shakes her head, and gets up to bring her arms to bear once more...
