"It was cold and dark ... memories flashed before my eyes. I saw an battle b/w a neighboring clan. I remember fighting that day. Next i remember Meeting my sire for the 1st time. Followed by the sight of my Sire on trial before me. Then another sudden flash and i saw my Teacher standing before me with some kind of book. At last i remember standing over my Master and friend whom i had just killed as the fires lept around me ... i wepted. Then darkness ... i slept for a long time with these images floating in my head. I dont know how long it has been i slept but for some reason time didnt mean much to me ... but i was hungry. inside me dwelled an unquenchable thirst. Then i remember a voice .... a voice i had long forgotten. It bid me come forth back into the light. I ignored it at First not wanting to rouse .... soon though i could no longer ignore it. In a fit of rage i ended my Druids Sleep and came back into the world. Much has changed .... from what i am told i slept for a long time hidden inside the earth as is common for my clan. I am told my memories will return in time to me .... but for now i must find my own way Future."

Logan emerged from the ground the light from the Full Moon hurts his eyes as he squints to gather his surroundings. He is in a ruins of a sort. What looks to have been a once a stone house is now a pile of rubble with just a few walls still standing and many holes in the cieling. Through the roof Logan can see the out line of a tower. There are gardening tools scattered about with a few bags of fertilizer.
"Hello is anyone there? Show your self I heard your call and i have risen. Is no one there?"

Looking around no one Responds.

Logan approaches the doorway to get a full view of whats outside.

There is a small garden surrounded by a wall ... which leads to a huge Mansion.

"Where am i?" Logan says to himself and heads towards the Mansion ... he stops as his ears pick up a song.

"Hi Miss Alice.
With glass eyes
What kind of a dream
Are you able to have?
Are you entranced by?
For me still
My heart tears apart
And flows out
Memories
Pierce into
The mended crevice

Still, you do not answer.

Still, you do not answer."

Logan approaches the source of the song as quietly as he can so as to discover who is singing with such a lovely voice.

A lady sits in the garden in a bed of flowers singing to them ... her song.

Logan Approaches from the Shadows "I have come to answer your call Mi'Lady" he whispers into her ear

The woman turns around and lets out a shocked scream.

Logan gazes apon a familiar face however alls that comes to him is a name "My beloved Emily is that you? I thought i would never see you again!" He steps closer towards the startled woman.

"Logan it cant be! Your dead! You've been dead for just about 1000 years!"

"Nay good lady i just slept .... for 1000 years? Has much changed in the world since then ... what became of our village ... our clan!"

A group of men approach from the Mansion armed with strange weapons ... "Whats going here?" shouts a man with a small shield on his chest.

The woman looks back and replies "Its nothing just an old friend who made a surprise visit .. you can go back to your duties."

The man shoots Logan with a questioning glare
"How did your visitor enter the gardens unnoticed ... and why is he covered in soil ... and reek of manure."

The lady frowns back "That is something for me to be concerned with ... go back to your posts."

The man looks back over his shoulder and sends the other men away. Turning back he leaves quietly.

"Logan come ... we have much to discuss .... how much do you remember? says the lady

Logan gazes at his old friend "Not much i am afraid .... i remember a fire ... a trial .... and my master void of life with a twisted grin."

Emily sighs "I think its best if you try to figure things out on your own .... but i will try my best to help you remember. As well show you the wonders of this New Age my old friend. I am sure you thirst even now i can almost feel the beast within you. Take some of my blood to sustain you."

And with that an old Friend ship is renewed. Its been 2 years and I remember now of my Sires Shameful trial ... and how his friend who had been my mentor took me in. I dont know what happened b/w us but alls i know is i killed ... no i did worse then kill him ... I drank every drop of blood he had. There is nothing left of my old village .... i must discover what happened. A picture stirred something in my memory .... i head to LA to find its painer maybe there i can find another clue. In this New Age i must find my own place.

The writing for the prelude to this game is amazing. It sounds as though it should be a movie and not a game. Would you consider turning your game into a movie if it was successful enough? I bet they both would have great success. Have you played your games you design on a led tv?
