[Kitty, Cal & Princess]
Travel through unfamiliar lands is always a bit unsettling, but the warm breeze and clear skies of this beautiful spring day helps to take an edge off your tension and ease your troubled thoughts. It has been easy enough to lose yourself as you make your way on the King's Road. The low hills and rolling grasslands stretch for miles around since leaving the small forester village of Ludd at the north western edge of the Harken forest. Amid the open plains and hills you've seen abandoned farmsteads and old ruins of keeps lost to time, like pillars in a sea of grass, that tell of the time before the Blood Spear War. Aside from the ruins that dot this part of the Nentir Vale, there is little change in scenery until you come upon the Moon Hills a few miles before you reach Fallcrest.
[Kitty]
Alone on the road, you hold fast to the fact that you are almost to the city, a few more miles and then your chance to prove yourself can truly begin....
[Princess & Cal]
Three days it's been since you left Ludd, heading off after what, you hope, may be your link to finding the Wizard you seek. Having met just outside of Ludd, Lucian came upon Myst being waylaid by a ragtag group of goblins. Seeing her need, you've both taken to finding Severam Twilight, a wizard and old friend of Myst's mother. As it would happen, fortune favored you both! You soon learned, upon arriving at Ludd, that his granddaughter had just passed through only a few days before you. Making all haste, you set out in search of her. As you sped toward Fallcrest, you both have become aware of a looming presence on your tail... Never able to quite see what follows you both. Knowing that the city is ever closer is no small amount of joy. As the bend of the King's Road turns westward again around one of the many hills in the area, you see a lone figure ahead of you, a female by looks, maybe the one you seek....
*posting the rest soon... Add what you like, Cal & Princess, you both see Kitty, but she hasn't noticed you yet.
[Bats & Melil]
Answers.... soon, you might have answers. Having recently come to the town of Fallcrest, it dawns on you that this day may be the true beginning of the rest of your life....
[Bats]
Having met with the Lord Warden, Faren Markelhay, six days past, you were more then glad to get things moving this fine morning. Having come here for answers, you've been tasked with investigating the rumors of increased Kobald activity in the area northwest of the city, a place you now know as Kobald hall. Being new to the city, you've spent a good deal of time just trying to get a feel for the place and had yet to produce any fruits for your efforts. But Fortune favors you today, for you received a note from Lord Markelhay himself, asking that you meet a man by the name of Tristan E'Melil, a human Paladin of Sehanine, in the markets of Lowtown. From there, you both are to head to the King's Gate and await the arrival of one Alatea Twilight, a female Eladrin whom you are to bring before the Lord. Task in hand and a warm morning breeze on your face, things seem to be going your way....
[Melil]
The Temple of Sehanine in Fallcrest is a wonder to behold, truly, you are at peace in this place. Unlike the last two mornings, though, you have little time to enjoy it. Since coming here, you have been received with open arms into the Knights of the Moon, the order of Paladins for Sehanine in this town, and spent the last few days getting to know the fellow members of the church. Seeking answers of your own, you feel beholden to them to do your part while they work to provide you with what you seek. As such, it was asked of you to meet an agent of the Lord Warden, one Vontaras Bladeborn, and aid him in his quest. In your room, in a separate building off of the main temple, you realize you are running late and you meeting in the markets is near at hand...
[Z & WotK]
Troubles, both near and far, never seem to leave you be. Yet today promises to be a day that might let you forget your past, let go of the problems before you and relax... at least for a little while...
[Z]
Another day on the Nentir river, but your last according to Dorse, the halfling steering the small skipraft you're on. It's been a rather uneventful two weeks on the river and getting off and on to adventure has left a charge in the air it seems. Who would have thought trying to steal from an old windbag would end up being your ticket out of trouble? Funny how things work out, one minute you're thinking yourself so clever, trying to nab some gold from a fossil of an Eladrin and the next you are headed a hundred miles north on a river to help his grandchild clean house... and getting paid for it! If getting caught stealing was this lucrative, it almost might be worth doing it again...
[Lillian]
Such a lovely morning, not that you're able to enjoy it. The docks in Lowtown is just about the last place in Fallcrest you want to be, but a jobs a job and this one promises to pay well. Waiting is the hard part, but as you gaze down river, you see what you've been waiting for... a small boat with small people. Passing the time until it arrives, you can't help but let your eyes wander to the north. There, at the base of the falls, is an island with the Statue of a human hero of old, facing down river as if to ward off would be attackers. Remembering it isn't safe for you here, you look around once again and stand by as the small craft docks.....
Tristan E'melil rises from his prayers ... looking at the sun. Realizing he is late he dons his armor and grabs his gear. Offering a small prayer to his goddess of luck to make it before his contact leaves. As he leaves his quarters and makes his way ... checking his talisman is concealed under his armor before he walks out the door heading for the Markets. _________________ http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=61742
I really can't stand this sort of travel. Only really short pee breaks, never enough time to really relax... Pisses me off. Not really like I have a choice, but... almost to the point where I'd rather @#$% this guy just to have something to do. Ugh, what are you thinking?! Gross! I'm going nuts here! Thank whatever gods there are that we're so close to our destination...
Al leans backwards over the bow of the ship, head approaching the water. Her twin brown ponytails nearly touch the surface, but she's not willing to bend over any further to touch the water. I'm so bored, I'm going to toss myself overboard at this rate....
Thankfully, she does reach shore before she does anything more rash; the craft finally docks at pier, and the near-crazed (if not already crazed) halfling leaps off the bow and onto the wooden planks. Even at a glance, she has a remarkable profile - she is apparently broad-shouldered for a woman, which is the only part of her body besides her head that isn't obscured by the thick furry hide she wears for protection. She has brown hair tied into two pony tails dangling off her head, bearing a strange resemblance to bunny ears. At first glance, she appears to be wearing a bandit mask around her eyes - but upon closer inspection, it's actually tattooed upon her skin, creating two rings of near-black skin around her eyes resembling that of a small rodent's. A bastard sword, large even by a human's standards, hangs off her back.
She walks up to the woman hanging about, appraising her with a look from her two red eyes.
"So. You're the one we're 'sposed to meet. You look... useful." She finishes that sentence with an unsettling grin - not quite friendly, but not quite vicious...
Lillian looks around agitatedly, but stops when she notices the tatoos on the halflng's face. She smiles breifly before continuing to look around.
"The name's Lillian, Lilly for short. I was only expecting just you for the time being, so I assume by "we" you mean the wizards graddaughter, We should leave - soon."
Lillian gives the halfling another half smile. "What is your name halfling?" She inquires, then she quickly turns to walk away ito the shadows of the near by buildings, oblivious to whatever responce she makes.
The halfling regards the odd half-elf coolly, tilting her head at her apparent jumpiness. Then she draws her sword and pushes it into the ground with a loud Clang!, making sure to grind it against the wood for good measure.
"Are you listening? Good, 'cuz I'm only gonna say this once. My name is Muale. Al for short. And - are you paying attention to me? Because I'm paying attention to you. And, y'know, if you're not paying attention..."
The edges of her mouth pull back slowly in a bizarre mimic of a clown's smile, and her grip upon her blade's hilt tightens subtly...

As Al faces off to the back of the fleeing half elf, a small giggle erupts from behind her. "Say now, pretty, that's awfully rude 'o' her, isn't it?" Turning, you see that Dorse has docked the small craft and is now standing behind you, a little to close for comfort. "Never mind her, treats, I'll be good to you. Whadda ya say we head to a inn to enjoys ourselves some fine company, hmm?"
Lillian turns around to see if the halfling is following, "Hey, you, "Fistfight" are you comming?! Or are you just going to stand there posing with your big sword?" She looks around again and hurries to the cover of the nearby ally.
"You can make friends on your own copper, not mine, lets go."
As Alatea approaches the city she begrudgingly admits to herself that the scenery isn't as unpleasant in this world as she remembered from visits to her grandfather as a small child. The rolling hills definitely aren't as dramatically beautiful as the feywild, but they have a serenity to them that one could get used to.
She shakes herself out of her reverie and rereads the letter from her grandfather for what must be the hundreth time and thinks to herself "Rescuing family lands from monsters, that will show my parents!"
Remembering that it is prudent to pay attention to your surroundings when traveling by oneself, Alatea looks around. In the distance she notices two strangers traveling together. But they look more travel-worn than threatening so she doesn't take much notice.
From behind the strangers see her silver hair shimmering in the sunlight and a traveling cape, nondescript from a distance. As they get closer they see the cape has protective symbols all along the border, interwoven with each other. Her leather armor has similar designs, whorls and knots etched into it and built up. When Alatea turns around the strangers are struck by her angular face and deep set apply green orbs of eyes. She is an average height and a slight build. She moves with grace and a slight wariness like she doesn't know what to expect from this world.

Having finished his morning exercises, Vontaras straps on his well-worn armor and prepares for what promises to be his most interesting day since he got to town. Lifting his sword from where it was resting on the bed, he holds it up to the light, he takes it on one last slide across his sleeve to remove any fragments from his whetstone and sheathes it on his hip. With one last check of his gear, he sets off towards the market.
The note had detailed a meeting with a human, apparently a holy warrior. Chuckling to himself, Von recalls his father's words regarding Paladins; "seems like if they're going to be calling on their god all the time like that, they could at least ask him for a sense of humor."
Scanning the crowd for what he's expecting to be a rather dull looking human in plate armor, Vontaras wanders through the markets in the vague direction of the gate.
"That pathetic waste o' lumpy... we'll talk later. That addle-brained half-blood just can't seem to decide whether she wants to live or die...", Al groans, sheathing her sword and storming up to her in a huff.
"This better pay good, half-elf. If not, I'm gonna have yer head..."
Lillian turns to the halfling. "I'm sorry did you say something? I have a tendency to mistake conversation with background noise, it is unconsciously done I assure you." She smiles again noting her tattoed eyes, "You must have made someone terribly angry to deserve such permanent markings; tell me what did you do? Never mind we haven't the time for things of such little importance, We must make haste to the Kings Gate, I need to be there as soon as possible, we can't be late. We can't be late." Lillain continues in the direction of the gate, still looking around for trouble.

[Vontaras]
The market green is an open Field area littered with the wears and goods of most all the local and traveling merchants. Around the green you see children at play and many people looking at whats for sale. One main road goes north to south, leading to the Kings gate, and a few others branch off to the different areas of Lowtown. It doesn't take long, after leaving the small townhouse you've been provided, before you see the man you're looking for rushing down the main road from the north....
Tristan looks around once he gets to the market ... pausing only to look for his contact. This Vontaras Bladeborn is suppose to be a very talented tactician and fighter ... maybe he will be an honorable man as well. Hopefully he wont mind alittle tardiness due to ones devotion to ones only family and culture. "May Sehanine reveal her mysteries to me. And grace my lost ones with the luck she has given me." _________________ http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=61742
Turning to meet his contact Tristan makes sure to greet him properly. "Greetings noble warrior ... I apologize for my untimely arrival i was caught up in prayer and lost track of time." With a slight bow he introduces him self. "I am Tristan E'melil paladin in service to the goddess Sehanine. Currently working for the Lord Warrden. I hear we are suppose to complete some quest? For our lord? Do you have any more details?" _________________ http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheets/view.php?id=61742
"Greetings to you, Sir Knight," answers Von "there are worse reasons to be late than being caught up in prayer, I suppose."
"From here, we are to head to the main gate and escort a contact of the Lord's to his chambers. I think walking should be fine, unless you feel another bout of piety coming on."
Grinning "I can think of a few reasons off hand i have been guilty of myself... and a knight i am far from. A soldier i once was but Sehanine has called me for another purpose. Besides what kind of knight would a paladin of the god of thieves make? Lead on good sir to meet this contact."

With Al in tow, Lilly makes her way off the docks and to the nearby alley. Heading south, you two companions head between an old warehouse and the ruins of an unknown structure. At the back end of the alley the way splits left and right with the way ahead also consisting of large amounts of rubble from buildings destroyed long ago. To the right the lane opens up to a dirt road that follows along the river, to the left the alley continues and opens up about 30 feet ahead on the right, then splits and around a building to join the main road in Lowtown, which leads to the King's Gate. Looking around as you go, you both notice that there is a two ruff looking men coming up the ally behind you. Neither man looks very friendly or clean, for that matter, and both have wicked looking clubs in hand...
[At this point, you are at the T in the alley. Both men are 25 or so feet behind you, no Int yet, depending on what you choose to do.]
Lillian Looks behind her; seeing the two thugs she curses under her breath.
"Let us go to the left, it is closer to the main street and therefore the safest. You must watch out for "sheep" in this area, they are all over the place and at times do not apper to be as black as they are."
She picks up the pace while checking to see that her sword is easily accessible.
"I hope for your sake you can wield that thing, and it isn't merely for compensation."
