Naboo: The day after the Knighting ceremony

The dawn of a new day. The sign that life will always continue, and a mixed blessing in these troubled times; for the night's embrace serves to hide the damage to the city caused by the Imperial bombardment.

A new dawn is also a sign of change.
The calls of Naboo's wildlife are subtly different to how they were before the battle. Though the galactic significance is far beyond the comprehension of the beasts, they know instinctively that their environment has changed.
Perhaps you feel this too?

Arrisa certainly does. Her exact reasons for declaring you and Xan to be Jedi Knights are not yet clear, but they will become clear.
You get a strong sense in the Force from her; a telepathic message containing four words.
Four words that are the understatement of the millennium.
"We need to talk"

(Jayce's Room, Safe House, Theed)

This dawn finds Jayce lying on top of his bed with his hands behind his head staring at the ceiling. The normally calm features of his face are uncharacteristically marred by the troubling events of the knighting ceremony yesterday. Being made a Jedi Knight was the last thing he ever expected. The last thing he ever wanted...wasn't it? But he could not definitively say yes or no to this answer. All he was left with was more questions. Am I a Jedi Knight? What does that mean? Is this what I want? What about my people? What about our traditions? What would my father think?

This is the moment when Jayce receives Arrisa's call. And when he answers.

"So we do. Where?"

'Somewhere calm and peaceful' Arrisa thinks back,
'The Lake Country is probably best. It's a beautiful landscape and it doesn't get a lot of humanoid traffic so it's perfect. I'm going to have Arriana Ka meet us out there too. This concerns her as well as you'

'I'll send someone to pick you up' Arrisa thinks back.

(half an hour later)

You arrive by airspeeder at a beautiful soft sandy beach on the edge of a great lake. Beyond the beach is a large forest, and across the water are hills and meadows. Only a few country homes dotting the area give any hint of advanced civilisation.

Laying on the sand beneath a large sun shade are Arrisa, and the tattooed woman from the Pit of Despair; Arriana Ka.
Arrisa spots you first and gestures for you to join them.

Waving to Arrisa in greeting, Jayce stops, removes his shoes and socks, and walks barefoot across the sand to join them. "Good morning. An excellent place for a meeting. This is truly a planet blessed by the Force."

Arrisa grins.
"You won't get any argument on that from us", she says calmly.
"Please, sit down. The three of us have a lot to discuss. Something that affects all of our futures, and this place seemed like the most conducive to peaceful thought and deliberation"

Joining them on their towel, Jayce extends his hand and says, "I don't believe we have ever been properly introduced. I'm Jayce Hayden, you might remember me from the rescue earlier?"

Arriana looks up at you, then glances over at Arrisa.
"Is he mocking me?" she asks.

"No, he's not mocking you," Arrisa replies, "He may have an odd sense of humour, but he's a good man"

Arriana looks unsure for a moment, then takes the offered hand.
"Arriana Ka of the Singing Mountain clan. Yes, I remember you and the boy not taking kindly to my orders on the Imperial ship. I apologise. Were we on Dathomir, I would be expected to take you as my husband. Fortunately, we are not on Dathomir so we do not have to see how badly that would turn out"
